A new and charming traditional Ottoman-style hotel right on the doorstep of two thousand years of history in Istanbul's west city-centre. Member of the Sirkeci hotel chain and restaurant group, the establishment was recently built and inaugurated in 2007. The Sirkeci Konak Hotel contains its own definition in the name ``Konak``. This is a large house, normally used as a Turkish official residence and in the old Ottoman Empire. Its creation was the fruit of a innovative focus based on combining the old 19th century style with modern 21st century comfort.
