The Harte - amp; Garter Hotel is a union of 2 14th century inns known as 'The Garter Inn' and 'The White Harte' being named after the King who has formerly lead the country back then.It was 19th century when they were joined together to form 'The Harte - amp; Garter Hotel', the building were in they were located was Jacobethan style, and it is much loved by the Victorians and it has been reflecting the Shakespearean connections.
