Elmbank Hotel is a city hotel with a country house atmosphere. Murals, frescoes, a magnificent oak staircase leading to a gallery with stained glass windows are just a few of the fine examples of art nouveau introduced in the interior of the hotel by George Walton, follower of Charles Rennie Macintosh. Designed by architects J. B. - amp; W. Atksinson and built around 1870. Each of the 63 comfortable bedrooms including 15 rooms in the adjacent Elmbank Lodge is equipped with modern amenities and high speed internet access.
