Dolder Grand Hotel was built at the turn of the century and is an imposing landmark in the city. Set within its own park in a residential area, it is the only hotel in the city limits with its own golf course. Being only six to ten minutes from downtown, it is very much a city hotel, but has a relaxed resort atmosphere. During the summer, guests enjoy swimming, golf, tennis and scenic jogging. In winter, there's ice-skating and the European sport known as curling.
