This 4 star hotel's restoration started in 1999. The Bloomsbury was originally designed by Lutyens for the Young Womens Christian Association YWCA in neo-Georgian style. the foundation stone, visible at the front of the building was laid by Queen Mary in 1929.Opened in 1932, it had an impressive concert hall on the first floor, library, chapel and extensive accomodation, all of which have been restored to their original splendour. This brand new stunning hotel is located just two minutes away from Tottenham Court Road Underground Station. Many of the original features of the building have been carefully restored.
